EDS Pro is a tool that helps doctors and vascular technologists to detect MES in TCD time series. The EDS cannot be used as a stand-alone automatic emboli detection system. The responsibility of acting medically in response to active ongoing cerebral embolism lies by the physician(s) responsibility for the wellbeing of the patient.
